Campaign “Recycling differently”

On the Indonesian island of Bali, a former development worker has realized a unique project:

The project, named “Temesi Recycling”, treats accumulated waste; plastic waste is recycled and organic waste is turned into compost.

In this way over 90% (!) of the accumulated garbage is reused.

“Temesi Recycling” also hosts information events for school children and others. The topics of the events range from “natural and environmental protection” over “garbage reduction” to “garbage avoidance” and many more.

This project can also easily be realized in other regions / countries in a timely manner, which is why we would like to make this project known and implemented in other countries as well.
